All are welcome to this open day to explore the history of Millinacuff Medieval Church & Graveyard and hear more about recent repairs and conservation works. Meet at the 'Dying Cow' pub at 11 am for a tea + talk hosted by Wicklow Community Archaeologist, Yvonne Whitty followed by a visit to the Church & Graveyard (distance 2km) to meet the conservation team and learn more about the use of lime in historic repairs through demonstrations.
The team will be onsite from 12-2 pm so feel free to drop in.
The Church & Graveyard is a very pleasant 25min walk incoporating part of the Wicklow Way. Please note that there is car parking at the Dying Cow but very limited parking available near the church & graveyard. Access to the church is via a lane off the public road and will be signed
