Inrap is a public establishment placed under the supervision of the ministries in charge of Culture and Research. It ensures the detection and study of the archaeological heritage upstream of the land use planning works. Each year, it realizes more than 2,000 diagnoses and archaeological excavations on behalf of private and public planners, in metropolitan France and overseas. Its missions extend to the scientific study of data collected in the field and the diffusion of archaeological knowledge.
In partnership with:

Arte, a longstanding partner of European Archaeology Days
The channel has always given archaeology a special place in its programming, particularly on Saturday evenings in prime time. In the form of major investigations filmed worldwide, the documentaries in the "Human Adventure" segment reveal the history of societies, offering an in-depth look at researchers and excavation sites.
The public's interest in exceptional discoveries remains strong over time, as evidenced by the consistently high viewership of these documentaries, both on-air and in replay, as well as the steadily increasing attendance at the JEA. Strengthened by Inrap's support for a number of the channel's co-productions, this natural partnership between ARTE and Inrap is set to continue. Many of these ambitious films are also available in six European languages (French, German, English, Polish, Italian and Spanish) on the ARTE website. Increasingly a European cultural channel, it can only commend Inrap’s efforts over the past three years to expand the JEA beyond France’s borders.

A must-see perspective on archaeology. Founded in 1964, Archéologia is now at the centre of an unrivalled worldwide network of specialists. With archaeology being more relevant than ever, Archéologia remains the go-to reference for researchers and enthusiasts worldwide.
