Ancient walls and Monumental Tomb of Pesqop

An archaeologist will give the visitors a detailed guided tour of Persqop’s ancient walls and monumental tomb. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the ruins, the walls, the monumental tomb etc.
Furthermore, students from the artistic high school of Tirana will draw the monumental tomb and so on they will learn more about the burial rituals and the construction typology. The visit will continue at the Works of Art Laboratory, part of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage to observe the frescos restoration in process, learning more about the techniques of protection and preservation of the cultural property.
