The CBA Festival of Archaeology is back for its 29th year in 2020 offering hundreds more opportunities to get involved in archaeology across the UK.
From the 11-26 July, local societies, museums, heritage organisations and other groups will be offering the chance to have find out more about archaeology. As always, there will be a huge range of activities to choose from including site visits, skills training opportunities, demonstrations, museum tours, talks and walks and plenty of family friendly days.
For the 2020th edition, the CBA Festival of Archaeology becomes an event labelled "European Archaeology Days". The 2020 locations and activities are available both on the festival page and on those of the European Archaeology Days.
