The European Archaeology Days (JEA) will take place from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 June 2020
Led by Inrap under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, these days will mobilize the entire archaeological community in the 47 countries members of European Council.
Archaeological organizers will work in conjunction to bring the riches and inside stories of the discipline to the widest possible audience.
In 2019, eighteen countries took part in the European Archaeology Days for the first time: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
In 2019, the JPOs reached 330,000 people in eighteen countries and more than 1,150 locations. Nearly 1,000 organizers were mobilized and almost 150,000 visits were made to the dedicated website during the event.
